Farm Leaders’ teleconference 7th October 2019

The performance of VetImpress varies with Chris and Nich finding it somewhat useful and Nick disappointed with the progress of his installation. Different expectations of what it should do from collecting of clinical and treatment information to the production of invoices via PMS synchronisation. The Leadership team are conscious that we’ve been here before and, while there is a desire to progress, the lessons of the past should also be learned. Two actions:

1. In-house XLVets discussion (Nich, Toby, Arron, David Black and Andrew) to discuss what has been learned from Datavet, where could it go from here (a vision?) and what might it take to get there?

2. Pursue the meeting with George Brownlie.

Telemedicine/Animals under our care

The views of the Membership should be gathered so we will create a questionnaire with 5-6 open questions and distribute to Members, creating the expectation that we should have at least one submission from each practice.

Action: Colm will circulate a document to develop the questions.

XL Farm team meeting (November 6th Manchester)

Action: Colm will create a draft agenda for distribution/discussion

RCVS Paraprofessional Regulation - offer to collaborate from Vet Partners

Action: Nick Eames will follow-up initial discussion with a phone call to Simon King at LLM to discuss their conversation with Reaseheath College and report back to the Group.
